EVERY Legendary Rated / Reviewed-Awaken: Chaos Era FULL Hero / Champion Breakdown Guide
Welcome to the textual guide following Darth’s video linked above. We will cover every Legendary Hero in the game by factions, and you will be able to see Darth’s thoughts about these Heroes.
It will be a basic review of each Hero and not a Pro guide on every Hero. The purpose of the guide is to help you have a general idea of the Heroes once you have obtained them.
You can jump to the Hero you want to read about by clicking on their name in the list below.

Lydia
Lydia is a high DPS, single target, defense ignoring Hero with survivability based upon her Trait.
Trait → Phantom Dodge +20%. → Grants +20% Dodge, plus a bonus +20% Dodge if this character is below 50% Health.
Every time that she dodges, she will respond with a high damage attack Revenge → Passive.
Revenge → Passive ability Upon dodging, counterattacks to deal 200% damage. If this ability lands a Critical Strike, damage ignores 50% of Defense.
It is the reason we want to build 100% Crit on Lydia. The Ultimate ability is effectively working the same. Let us check it out.
Shadow Assault → Ultimate ability; Cooldown: 4 turns Deals 200% damage to an enemy. If this ability lands a Critical Strike, damage ignores 50% of Defense.
Lydia depends upon RNG. When she is below 50% of HP she will have a 40% dodge total, including the 20% she gets flat from the Trait. You will get your counterattacks and DPS this way. Her damage can be RNG, but she can do very high single target damage.
She can help you “cheese” some things, especially in “Endless Trials” where you get more bonus dodge percentage.
Urion
Urion was changed recently. He is effectively sort of a one-shot Hero. You will use his Ultimate ability to do mass damage and AoE.
You will have a bonus elemental advantage with the Trait.
Trait → Elemental Affinity Grants attacks an elemental advantage bonus.
Ascension → before attacking or taking damage. Can be triggered once per round.
The Trait makes it that once per round Urion’s attacks count as him being correct affinity against an enemy Hero. For example, water into fire, fire into the wood, etc. Urion will get a 50% damage bonus.
We are moving on to the Ultimate ability.
Ender’s Beam → Ultimate ability; Cooldown: 4 turns Deals 160% damage to all enemies and applies Defense Down for 2 turns. Grants a Shield for 2 turns with strength that increases based on this character’s Attack.
Defense Down: -30% Defense Shield: Redirects some damage from the target to this character.
Darth has tested AoE Defense Down from the Ultimate ability. He is not 100% sure, but from what he has seen, it looks like the Defense Down is actually applied after the damage is. It means that Urion does not Defense Down and then apply damage. If you have Defense Down spell, doing it first would make you do more damage in total.
Flashing Pirouette → Special ability; Cooldown: 3 turns Removes 1 negative effect. Deals 180% damage to an enemy and steals 1 positive effect.
Urion can remove negative effects and steal positive ones. His Basic ability has a chance to stun.
Lightshot → Basic ability Deals 100% damage to an enemy, with a 30% chance to apply Stun for 1 turn.
This Hero is really good for farming campaigns. You can one-shot any wave. He is good against dark Heroes because he will always have an affinity bonus versus them, but they will also have an affinity bonus versus him. Darth thinks that Urion could use a smaller buff. He is still quite good for AoE damage.
Criasas faction
Gubeg
Gubeg is a Hero Darth can not wait to use but believes that for this Hero to be used, he has to have his Ascension, which requires five duplicates of him.
Gubeg gets bonus turns back to back to back. So let us check out his Trait.
Trait → Restlessness +1 bonus turn per round per 150 (once ascended 100) Speed. +10 Speed upon casting any ability (max: 100 bonus Speed).
Cunning Stab → Basic ability Deals 50% damage to an enemy. This attack has a 30% chance to ignore 50% of target Defense and grant 10 Speed.
Vile Ambush → Special ability; Cooldown: 5 turns Deals 100% damage to an enemy plus 1 Poison for 2 turns with a 30% chance of an extra Poison for 2 turns and +10 Speed.
Quick Raid → Ultimate ability; Cooldown: 8 turns Deals a total of 300% damage to a random selection of enemies. Damage scales with this character’s Speed.
His AoE from the Ultimate is doing pretty damage and scales with his Speed.
Darth thinks this Hero is highly, highly gear dependent. People will show builds for Gubeg as they unlock him and get gear for him.
Hector
Hector is a Hero who is a single target, high DPS with a bonus turn mechanic. Let us check out his abilities and see what Darth thinks about this Hero.
Trait → Berserker’s Wrath Max damage +25% (once ascended 50%).
Whirlwind Chop → Basic ability Applies Damage Up II and then deals 100% damage to an enemy.
Damage Up II: +50% damage.
Axe Toss → Special ability; Cooldown: 2 turns Deals 100% damage to an enemy and applies Increased Damage Taken for 2 turns. Max 2 stacks. Cannot be used without an axe.
Increased Damage Taken: +30% damage taken.
Ancestral Call → Ultimate ability; Cooldown: 4 turns Recalls all thrown axes, deals 200% damage to an enemy, and grants 1 bonus turn for every axe.
You should understand that his Basic ability applies Damage Up II only when he has both axes in his hands. If he has one axe in his hand he gets Damage Up I. If he has no axes he does not get the Damage Up.
For this reason, it is a little bit annoying to use Hector. You will throw both your axes with the Special ability and then use your Ultimate. You will get two turns, throw both your axes again, and then next turn you are going to use the Basic, but you will not have the Damage Up.
It would be significantly better if the Damage Up was applied without the axes because you are never Basic attacking with the axes. You are always trying to get the bonus turns from his Ultimate.
This Hero is still a very high-tier, single target, red damage dealer.
Crazed Urzag
Crazed Urzag is most likely the Hero Darth does not understand the most. They have recently changed him. We will together go through his abilities.
Trait → Bloodlust Grants 1 stack of Block (up to 3 stacks) when casting an ability. (
Ascension → Immediately grants 3 stacks of Block at the start of battle. Block: Each Block reduces damage taken by 15%. Each attack on this character removes 1 Block.
Lethal Strike → Basic ability Deals 100% damage to an enemy and applies [Unhealable] for 2 turns.
Bloodshed → Special ability; Cooldown: 5 turns)
Strikes all enemies 4 times, dealing 100% total damage. Each strike has a 30% chance to remove 1 positive effect. Once all of your team has cast their abilities, you gain 1 Rage. After accumulating 5 Rage, you immediately cast this ability’s bonus attack, can be used twice per round maximum.
Rage Eruption → Ultimate ability; Cooldown: 7 turns Deals 250% damage to one enemy, and if the target has less than 50% life, damage is increased by 50%. When this skill kills the target, it immediately casts a special ability bonus skill.
You can see he kind of constantly gets bonus damage.
Corrupt Orakh
Corrupt Orakh is the Hero Darth wants more than any other Hero in the game.
This Hero essentially deals around Max HP and true damage. It is always a really good mechanic.
· Trait → Darkness Approaches
At the start of the round, deals True Damage equal to 5% of this character’s Max Health to all enemies.
Ascension → If this character is below 50% Health, deals True Damage equal to 10% of Max Health to all enemies.
As we can see, Corrupt Orakh will deal true damage equal to the percentage of his HP. We are going to build him HP items. If we look at his Stat page his Health Stat is “S” tier.
Evil Slash → Basic ability Deals 50% damage to an enemy. Damage scales with this character’s Max Health.
Torment → Special ability; Cooldown: 3 turns Deals 100% damage to an enemy and recovers 30% of damage dealt as Health. Grants Max Health Up for 2 turns.
Ultimate Execution → Ultimate ability; Cooldown: 4 turns Removes all positive effects from an enemy, then deals 100% damage to them and applies Silence for 2 turns. Damage scales with this character’s Max Health.
Silence: Can only use basic abilities. [Control Effect]
You can build him tanky, he is going to do a ton of damage. He will shut down an enemy instantly and deal damage every turn regardless of whether or not he is actually taking the turn.
Darth thinks this is a really good Hero.
Lasir faction
Valeria
Valeria is essentially your AoE red DPS. She is a rookie starter Hero with a great attack tier(her attack Stat is “S” tier).
Let’s look at her Ultimate ability first.
Eye of the Cursed One → Ultimate ability; Cooldown: 4 turns Converts 20% of this character’s current Health into 180% damage to all enemies. Grants a bonus turn upon the defeat of an enemy.
Scarlet Feast → Special ability; Cooldown: 3 turns Deals 100% damage to all enemies and recovers Health equal to 35% of damage dealt.
We can see the synergy between these two spells. Use the Ultimate, get a bonus turn, recover the HP with the Special ability. And the Trait adds to the nuke potential. Let us check it out.
Trait → Pleasure and Pain Reduces all ability cooldowns by 1 turn upon the death of an enemy
Ascension → grants Attack Up for 1 turn as well.
She applies Defense Down with the Basic, which is always good, especially when paired with Hector.
Scarlet Lightning → Basic ability Deals 100% damage to 2 enemies, with a 50% chance to apply Defense Down for 2 turns.
Defense Down: -30% Defense.
Valeria is potentially one of the better rookies summon choices.
Darkened Nicklaus
Darkened Nicklaus is kind of interesting because of his Trait.
Trait → Dark Force When this character’s Health falls below 50%, enters a Dark Avatar state, swapping basic and ultimate abilities.
Ascension → and grants Shield for 1 turn. Can only be triggered once every 2 rounds. Dark Avatar: Replaces basic and ultimate abilities. [Unremovable] Shield: Redirects some damage from the target to this character.
Let us check out how his Trait affects Basic ability.
Dark Sword → Basic ability; Normal Mode → (Dark Mode) Deals 100% damage to an (once ascended 2) enemy. Damage scales with the amount of Health lost by this character.
Dark Will → Passive ability Upon taking massive damage, grants 4 stacks of Death Immunity. 1 stack is removed for every subsequent attack taken. Can be triggered once per 6 rounds. Death Immunity: Health cannot drop below 1.
Calamity → Ultimate ability; Cooldown: 5 turns; Normal Mode → (Dark Mode) Deals 150% damage to 2 (all) enemies and applies Unhealable for 2 turns. Damage scales with the Health lost by this character.
Unhealable: Received healing effects are reduced by 100% (excludes Life Steal).
He is the reverse version of Nicklaus.
Nicklaus
The Passive is very important on Nicklaus. It will change the Ultimate ability once it is triggered.
King’s Will → Passive ability When the caster takes Lethal Damage, if there is still an ally on the battlefield, confers Death Immunity and replaces the Ultimate Ability for 2 turns. This ability can only be triggered once per battle.
Death Immunity: Health cannot drop below 1.
Holy Sword I and II → Ultimate ability; Cooldown: 4 turns Deals 100% damage to all enemies and distributes 100% of this character’s Attack evenly to all team members for 1 turn.
Converts 50% of damage dealt in this attack into Healing; This is the additional effect of the Holy Sword II.
It is still the same move, it still spreads the attack evenly.
Let us take a look at his Trait.
Trait → Lead the Way At the start of battle (once ascended → every round), grants this character the Speed of the fastest ally +1.
Swipe → Basic ability Deals 100% damage to an enemy. If the enemy’s Health is below 50% after the attack, grants a bonus attack on all enemies, which deals 50% damage.
Nicklaus will be the fastest Hero in your team because he is the fastest Hero +1. When you use your Ultimate ability, it will also distribute the attack evenly to all allies. Nicklaus will attack first, then use his Ultimate, and your allies will be stronger before their turns happen.
Darth: Sir Nick is sort of like a support in a weird way, like an offensive support and I like him a lot.
Evelyn Firstdawn
Eve Firstdawn is a Hero that has been highly considered the best Hero in the game. Darth is not sure if he completely agrees with that. She might be.
Trait → Battlefield Command Grants Defense Up (once ascended Attack Up as well) to all team members for 3 rounds at the start of battle. Defense Up: +20% Defense. [Unremovable] Attack Up: +20% Attack. [Unremovable]
Vanguard → Special ability; Cooldown: 3 turns Deals 100% damage to an enemy and applies Defense Down II for 2 turns.
Defense Down II: -50% Defense.
Defense Down II is so much better than Defense Down I. It is 50% instead of 30%.
Thrust → Basic ability Deals 80% damage to an enemy and removes 1 of their positive effects.
The bonus turns to all allies at the end of the round provided by the Ultimate ability is insane.
Full Strike → Ultimate ability; Cooldown: 5 turns Deals 100% damage to all enemies and grants a bonus turn to all allies at the end of the round.
The Ultimate ability is crazy when paired with Hero Windstrex and her ability Wind of Peace.
Wind of Peace → Special ability; Cooldown: 4 turns Refreshes the cooldown of an ally’s ultimate ability.
Your Heroes will get a bonus turn from her Ultimate, then Windstrex reset the Ultimate of the Firstdawn, and you get a bonus turn again. You can get 12 turns in essentially one round, an insane combination. Darth had done it in some clan Boss fights.
Darth: For this reason, I still think Eve Firstdawn is one of the top three Heroes in the entire game.
Soulplunders faction
Ciara
If we look at the way she works it is all about the Passive.
Dark Spread → Passive ability When the enemy’s Health is under 50%, deal 100% damage to all enemies. Can only be triggered once every 2 rounds.
She is about nuking people or completing kills. The Trait is pretty cool as well.
Trait → Soulstealer Grants 1 Vengeful Spirit I (once ascended II) (max 6 stacks) upon the defeat of an enemy. Vengeful Spirit I: +5% Attack. Stackable. Vengeful Spirit II: +8% Attack. Stackable.
When she gets the kills, she stacks attack with the Vengeful Spirits. Vengeful Spirits can be expent with the Ultimate ability to do bonus damage.
Darkness Falls → Ultimate ability; Cooldown: 4 turns Expends all Vengeful Spirit and deals 200% damage to an enemy. This attack deals +20% bonus damage per Vengeful Spirit expended.
Vengeful Spirit I: +5% Attack. Stackable. Vengeful Spirit II: +8% Attack. Stackable.
Normally you disable the Ultimate just so your AoE is stronger. The Basic ability is so good anyway because it increases damage taken. You want her to go first to increase the damage taken.
Dark Shreds → Basic ability Deals 100% damage to an enemy and applies Increased Damage Taken for 1 turn.
Increased Damage Taken: +30% damage taken.
