Storm – Marvel Future Revolution Ultimate Guide

Updated: Jan 22, 2022

Storm in Marvel Future Revolution is often a character that can be misunderstood however is a great character in terms of damage. She is not a great for solo PVP, the reason for this is because of the way her abilities are set up. Her abilities focus on control.

The Omega cards / Costumes do not necessarily impact the performance of this build as this is primarily based on how much money you have spent in the game or how far progressed through the game you are.

Her primary deficit is the fact that she does not have any skills that allow for repositioning whilst in battle, only has abilities that she casts with an animation and some are quite long; however she does do some great damage.

Skill 1:

Weather Witch – Third Variant (Electrocute)

Class: Lightning Cloud

Cooldown: 21.2s

Required Stamina: 37

Guard Break: Low

Stacks Shock when the skill lands

  • Decreases ATK by 25% for 7s upon reaching max stack count.

This skill is insane, this is the bread and butter of the build, at level 21 – Drops lightning upon a single target continuously to deal 1,579% Shock damage

Skill 2:

Icicle Crash – Fourth Variant (Snowstorm Shield)

Class: Deep Freeze

Cooldown: 30.s

Required Stamina: 34

Guard Break : High

Becomes immune to damage and debuffs for 4s Stacks Chill when the skill lands

  • Decreases Movement Speed and Dodge Rate by 30% for 7s upon reaching max stack counts

  • Freezes for 4s upon reaching max stack counts

Knocks down when the skills lands

At level 15 – Surrounds herself with a chill barrier and becomes invincible for a short duration. Then breaks the barrier to deal 695% Chill damage.

This skill is traded out for the next best single target move available which is Explosive hail. For this reason her defensive and offensive builds are different meaning her damage is considered lackluster when it comes to single target PVP.

Skill 3:

Lightning attack – Third Variant ( Thunder Crash)

Class: Lightning Cloud

Cooldown: 16.9s

Required Stamina: 34

Guard Break: High

Stacks Shock when the skill lands

  • Decreases ATK by 25% for 7s Upon reaching max stack counts

At level 21 – Causes a thunderstrike in a large area to deal 950% Shock damage

The fourth and fifth skills are variable dependent on the build you are going for, and depending on the specializations you go for.

The below is concentrated on a quick damage build double lightning.

Skill 4:

Sphere Control – First Variant

Class: Lightning Cloud

Cooldown: 6.6s

Required Stamina: 12

Guard Break: Lowest

Stacks Shock when the skill lands

  • Decreases ATK by 25% for 7s Upon reaching max stack counts

At level 21 – Throws a lightning sphere that explodes upon landing on a target to deal 331% Shock damage.

Skill 5:

Atmokinesis (Fourth Variant) Wall of frost

Class: Deep Freeze

Cooldown: 37.7s

Required Stamina: 11

Increases DEF by 51.5% for 10s

Stacks Chill when the skill lands

  • Decreases Movement Speed and Dodge Rate by 30% for 7s upon reaching max stack counts

  • Freezes for 4s upon reaching max stack count

Surrounds herself with an ice barrier. Increases DEF significantly and interferes with the nearby enemy’s movement while the barrier is active

Gear:

We would recommend going with the hydra set if you are going with the above build; primary reason for this is because of the lightning cloud class bonus and the critical rate. Build into critical rate and critical damage wherever possible.

Enhance Potential:

Focus on Critical rate, critical damage and ATK being the highest priority.

Specializations:

Thunderbolt

Chance to stack Shock by 1 upon applying shock – chance increases with each level the trait is levelled.

Lightning rod

Creates chain lightnings that spread to up to 3 enemies to deal damage equal to 40.5 → 54% of ATK when attacking (Cooldown: 8s) Cooldown and damage decreases and increases per level.

Rainy Season

Increases all skill damage deal to enemies by 24 → 27% and the required stamina by 24 → 27% Increases per trait level.

Rain Ritual

Increases Shock damage by 2.5 → 3% for each equipped (Lightning Cloud) class skill. Increases per trait level.
